2020 VDSR Award winners announced

Last Thursday we celebrated International Day of People with Disability by holding our 2020 Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation Awards as a virtual event.

After postponing the awards from early in 2020, we wanted to end what has been a difficult year on a note of positivity and give everyone a sense of hope and community spirit as we look towards a new year of opportunities in 2021.

You can read the full list of winners on our website.

We particularly congratulate Tim Chiu, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award for over 25 years’ volunteer service with our DSR Kids camps.

If you weren’t able to watch the awards ceremony live or want to re-live the excitement, you can now watch it on-demand on DSR TV.

The video is captioned and a transcript will be available in due course.

Our awards were made possible by the generous support of the Victorian Government, My Sport Live, the Carbine Club, Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation, Box Hill Institute, National Disability Insurance Agency and Paralympics Australia.
