The National Disability Strategy sets out how the Australian, state, territory and local governments are working together to make things better for people with disability. The new strategy, due for release in 2021, will help drive real, practical improvements in the lives of all Australians with disability.

All Australians, in particular people with disability, are invited to have a say on the Position Paper which outlines the key features governments are proposing to include in the new National Disability Strategy. These key features take into account what people told governments in the first stage of consultations held in 2019. Your feedback will be an important input to further develop the new National Disability Strategy.

The Position Paper is available in a range of formats. Submissions can be made in a variety of ways including completing a questionnaire.
